Subject: Causes of the Massive Failure in the Subject of English in BA/B.Sc Examination

Sir,

The results of all universities of Punjab have been announced. One thig is noticeable that only fifteen percent of the students have gone through وہےئ اکایمب) ) ںیہ the subject of English. And majority of the students have failed in it. It is not a new news as the same scene always happens after a year. Only a few people ponder into ) یتفرکی در )the causes behind failure but most of the public ignore it as a whole  .)لمکم وطر رپ(

In most of our institutes, English is not taught as a language. And a majority of students feel contented ) ن ی ئ مطم ( to cram ) ( اگلی ری some lessons to get through the barrier of examination. Resultantly, they achieve nothing but a tag of stars printed on their result card. It is true that English is a foreign language, most of the masses find it quite difficult to understand and learn English. But it is a language, not a book of Physics or Chemistry that makes the understanding difficult.

To avoid failures in English, first, we learn English as a language not a subject. The grammar has a core importance )یتیثیح رمک )while learning a language. They should learn its grammar and literary terms first. Then they would be able see through the lines )یاکالصوہفمم رحت

Yours faithfully,
Asad Imran
