Subject: Corruption of WAPDA Meter Readers

Sir,

Through the help of your esteemed daily, I want to draw the attention of the public and concerned authorities to a core issue in WAPDA. WAPDA is an important department for Pakistan, as it is responsible for a bright and progressive Pakistan. WAPDA is doing its job well. But when it comes to its workers, the scene is apart from positivity. Especially the meter readers have forgotten all social as well as moral values while taking a measurement.

The cost of electricity is too high. But the meter readers add a mismeasured reading to satisfy their negative needs. They often add an excessive amount of units. Resultantly, the subscriber has to pay such excessive amount of bill to maintain his connection of electricity. The second thing that meter readers do is to threat the citizens and receive money in order to make a less reading of their burnt units. If a subscriber does not want to pay this money of extortion )ہتھب ) they exploit )ںیہ دےتی دیکمھ ) him by different means of communication or they just repeat the same scene as mention above in this letter.

Therefore, it is necessary for authorities concerned to this department to take serious steps to check this corruption down. If we keep the rope tied, they will no longer be able to flourish )امن وشن، الیھپؤ )their business anymore.

    Waiting for a positive response,

Yours truly,
Asad Imran
