Trivia: I have been the ONLY boy from Mianwali district and centre who passed MA English Part 2 from the boys' side of both regular and private candidates this year.

Conclusion

The exorbitant amount of supplies in Optional Subjects (56 % of Appeared Candidates) proves my theory that UoS chooses a subject every year to fail students in. Also, UoS has a very bad tendency to award a notable chunk of aspirants with third division, thus jeopardizing their academic career, leaving with no other choice than to appear in the improvement exam. Though one discovery is much appreciated that the number of fully failed candidates is much lower than what I expected and an aggregate of 471 candidates signifies that the 48 % of appeared candidates have the potential to pass in their recent supplementary examination.

Explanations

¹ Candidates Appeared = Total Candidates - (Absent + Cancelled) = 1066 - (64 + 15)
² Passed in Part 2 but Failed in Part 1 Supplementary Exam
³ A degree with third division is nothing short of a useless piece of paper as most jobs require minimum of second division.
How was this report enacted?
1. I spent a ridiculous amount of hours logging the result of MA English Part 2 from this link to an Excel Sheet via Split Screen feature in Android. I logged only Roll Numbers, Names and their Results.
2. After logging the complete result, I organized the result section alpha-nomerically and utilized the Filter feature to count the number of things, for example, the alphabet "V" which stands for Short Stories.
3. Though I have tried my best to keep the data as exact as possible, minor overlooked errors are expected. For reference, please view this excel sheet that contains all the data of the result of MA English Part 2. Link
4. We still don't know how many of them were fresh and how many of them were appearing to clear their supplies.
Disclaimer: This report is NOT written to damage the reputation of an educational institute. The only purpose of this report is to analyze the whole result of MA English Part 2 and to provide transparency, something that has never been done before in the history of UoS.
