The Editor,
The "News",
Lahore.
Sir,
With the column of your
esteemed newspaper, I want to draw the attention of the present government on a core issue of Pakistan,
the growth of high priced living. There is no sphere of life but has a low cost
of goods and services. Expensive goods can be
seen everywhere around us. Most of the people, living in Pakistan are
under the line of poverty. They find it difficult to feed and educate their children.
In the field of education, the fees of school, college and university
going students
are increasing rapidly. Students often do a job to fulfil the desire of acquiring education.
Shopkeepers of different shops leave no stone unturned to earn an excessive amount of profit every day from their customers. These scenes can be seen in the shops fruit, vegetables, garments, shoes, clothes and other stuff that we need in our daily necessaries of life.
Now, the time has come
for the government to take drastic steps to check the expensive way of
living down. At first, the government should stabilize the economic condition of
our beloved motherland. Then it should give exemplary punishments to those
culprits who are involved in stealing and making goods expensive.
Hopeful of your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Asad Imran
